Transcreation Work in Tamil for

Dove and Intel

The opportunity to work in Tamil, my mother tongue, has been the most surprising break so far. And, what makes this break pleasant and welcome is the fact that assignments in Tamil Copywriting have come from UK!

Soon after my appointment (in their network of freelance copywriters) as Freelance Copywriter – Tamil by World Writers and BBH Compass, I received my first assignment in Transcreation, which is the new name for a work of adaptation these days.

World Writers invited me to work on Dove Bar Face Test Campaign. I did the Tamil Transcreation for three edits of the TV Commercial – 15, 20 and 30 sec and a Press Advertisement. I also directed the Voice-over artist during recording. All work got approved and the TV Commercials went on air. More work is expected on other Dove brands.

Recently completed work for World Writers was Transcreation for Intel – TV Commercials for 2 creative approaches in their new campaign. The work got approved and the TV Commercials will soon be broadcast.
